Little Brushy Creek bridge on SR 90 closed for emergency repair
What: The Little Brushy Creek bridge on State Route 90 in Irwin County sustained vehicular damage and is closed for emergency repair. A Georgia Department of Transportation bridge inspection team determined that the bridge needed to close after a tractor struck the handrail and deck curb. The bridge closed Wed., March 18. There isn't a timeline yet of when the bridge will reopen. Traffic is being directed to detour using SR 11 and SR 158.

Where: Little Brushy Creek on SR 90 in Irwin County, about four miles southeast of Ocilla.

When: The bridge closed Wed., March 18 and there currently is no projected reopening date.
