U.S. military school students explore innovation and industry excellence during their Safran Helicopter Engines site visit

Hosted by Frédéric Dalakupeian, the Head of Public Affairs, this tour provided students with a first-hand view of the site's operations, showcasing expertise in engine assembly, subassembly manufacturing and the design and development of new engines. Visitors also learned about how Safran Helicopter Engines is shaping the future of electrified rotorcraft with the development of hybrid propulsion concepts.

As the world's leading manufacturer of helicopter engines, the company has 21,500 powerplants in service, and more than 2,500 customers in 155 countries.

For the past 45 years, Safran Helicopter Engines has supported civil and military helicopter operators in the United States through its location in Grand Prairie, Texas. Its 1,325 engines in service across the U.S. power the U.S. Army's UH-72 Lakota; the U.S. Coast Guard's Airbus MH-65 Dolphin; as well as helicopters operated by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Now in the third year of annual visits by the Eisenhower School, this tour was an opportunity to showcase Safran's commitment to operational excellence and innovation. By welcoming students to its facility, Safran Helicopter Engines is advancing its ongoing mission to strengthen partnerships with universities and defense industry leaders while cultivating future talent.
