Pitt State Theatre presents “Endgame”

Set in an apocalyptic world with nowhere to go and not much to do, the characters in Pitt State Theatre's next production spend their time searching formeaning and contemplating the folly of life.

"Endgame," directed by Linden Little, will run Feb. 26 through March 1 in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts.

Considered to be playwright Samuel Beckett's greatest tragicomic works, "Endgame" explores the inability to act, remembrances of tasks never completed, and endings that never happen.

Cast and crew

The ensemble of four includes Wyatt Flood (Olathe, Kansas), Clov. Taye Witherspoon (Carthage, Missouri), Michael Fienen (Pittsburg, BA '04) and Sydney Patterson (Butler, Missouri).

The design team is comprised of costume designer Lisa Quinteros and guest scenic artist Cynthia Allan, retired Pitt State Theatre director.

"Endgame" will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26-28 and 2 p.m. Feb. 28-March 1.

Donations

This season, Pitt State Theatre is collecting needed items for The Lord's Diner. During the run of "Endgame," donations of single-serve snacks, such as peanut butter and crackers or cheese dip and cracker sticks, will be collected at the door. In addition to snacks, the Diner has need of pocket style hand warmers.
