Orla Mining Ltd v. Republic of Panama (ICSID Case No. ARB/24/27) - Notice of Public Hearing

A hearing on the Respondent's request to bifurcate its preliminary objections from the merits under ICSID Rule 44 and to bifurcate the issues of liability and quantum under ICSID Rule 42 in the above-referenced case took place on December 9, 2025.

Pursuant to Article 9.30.2 of the FTA between Canada and Panama, the hearing shall be open to the public, except for those parts involving protected information. In accordance with paragraph 13 of Procedural Order No. 2 dated December 20, 2024, and paragraph 56 of Procedural Order No. 4 dated November 7, 2025, ICSID will publish the Hearing video recording on its website for one week (subject to any applicable redactions).
