Policy Hearing to Tackle Pennsylvania’s Child Care Crisis

WHAT: House Republican Policy Committee Vice Chairman Kristin Marcell (R-Bucks), Rep. Shelby Labs (R-Bucks), Rep. Joe Hogan (R-Bucks) and other lawmakers will host a hearing titled "Child Care Challenges and Solutions" to discuss modernizing regulations and staff eligibility requirements so that child care businesses can thrive and working parents can access reliable, affordable child care. WHO: Testifiers will include Aaron Riggleman, manager, government affairs, PA Chamber of Business and Industry; Marissa Christie, president and CEO, United Way Bucks; Tami Unger, branch director, River Crossing YMCA; Bernadette Rodrigo, director, Children's Village; and Tiffany Martin, director, Teddy Bear College.
