Cypress Growth Capital is pleased to announce our investment in Vironix Health, an Austin, TX-based company that helps physician practices monitor and care for patients with chronic conditions between office visits.
For patients living with heart failure, kidney disease, lung disease, or diabetes, health often changes at home between appointments, when physicians have the least visibility. Remote monitoring can close that gap, yet fewer than 2% of Medicare beneficiaries received these services in 2024, based on data from the Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Vironix was founded in 2020 by Sumanth Swaminathan, Botros Toro, Sriram Ramanathan, Christopher Landon, and Nicholas Wysham. It gives physician practices what they need to monitor patients at home: connected devices, a patient app, enrollment and engagement tools, and reimbursement support.
The company's proprietary AI identifies patients who qualify for monitoring and flags those who may be deteriorating, so clinicians can step in sooner. Peer-reviewed research and commercial data back Vironix's strong record of patient outcomes.

"Vironix is already profitable, with significant opportunities ahead. Cypress' capital gives us the funding to pursue our growth initiatives while preserving our equity and flexibility. We can expand our sales and onboarding teams at a pace that makes sense for our business, while keeping our long-term options open," said Sumanth Swaminathan, CEO of Vironix Health.
Pat McCaffrey, Partner at Cypress Growth Capital, added, "Vironix gives physicians a clearer view of their patients between visits, which means earlier attention when someone's health starts to slip. The team's focus on patient outcomes shows in its results. We're excited to help Sumanth and the team reach more practices."
Vironix will use the non-dilutive funding primarily to expand sales and client success functions.
