Senator Justice Applauds Continued Development of Frontieras North America in Mason County
CHARLESTON, WV - Today, Senator Justice released a statement regarding an announcement from April of 2022 of a major investment with Frontieras North America in partnership with the Justice Administration. This partnership was part of Senator Justice's effort to attract major companies to West Virginia while Governor.
"It is fantastic to see the progress Frontieras North America has made in Mason County. We knew this project would be a home run when we first announced this investment over three and a half years ago. Keep up the good work, West Virginia!" said Senator Jim Justice.
BACKGROUND:
- Frontieras first announced the Mason County project in April 2022, citing the location's access to coal, skilled workers, and rail and water transportation links.
- West Virginia was chosen over locations in Texas and Wyoming.
- While Governor, Justice brought Nucor and Fidelis in addition to Frontieras North America to Mason County during his second term in office.
