Early Voting Begins This Week for Cary's 2025 Municipal Election

  • One-stop early voting for the Cary Municipal Election begins October 16 at the Wake County Board of Elections Office in Raleigh (Wake County voters) and the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center in Pittsboro (Chatham County voters).
  • More early voting locations, including Herb Young Community Center in Cary (Wake County voters) and New Hope Baptist Church in Apex (Chatham County voters), will open on October 25.
  • Cary voters can get to know the candidates by watching the Cary Community Candidate Forum at carync.gov/candidateforum.

Cary NC - Early Voting for Cary's 2025 Municipal Election begins October 16, with additional locations opening on October 25. Candidates for District A, District C, and one At-Large seat will be on the ballot this election cycle.

Beginning October 16, Cary voters in Wake County can vote early at the Wake County Board of Elections Office in Raleigh, and Cary voters in Chatham County can vote early at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center in Pittsboro.

Additional early voting sites open on October 25 at Herb Young Community Center in Cary for Wake County voters and New Hope Baptist Church in Apex for Chatham County voters.

Early voting at all sites ends November 1. Voters are reminded that an accepted form of photo ID must be presented to vote.

To assist voters in making informed decisions, Cary hosts a recorded Community Candidate Forum. This forum features candidates for the At-Large, District A, and District C seats, which airs daily on Cary TV until November 3. The forum is also available at carync.gov/candidateforum.

For Election Day voting on November 4, Cary voters can find their designated polling place by visiting the North Carolina State Board of Elections website.
