Trump Math: 1 Plane + 1 Golf Course = 1 Foreign Military Installation on U.S. Soil
Corruption in the White House has flourished under Donald Trump. Today, Trump's Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that the Qatari Air Force will build an air force facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho, months after Trump announced that he's building a golf course in Qatar. Trump also accepted a $400 million luxury jet as a gift from Qatar, his son-in-law got a $1.5 billion investment from Qatar and other Middle Eastern countries, and his top officials, like Kash Patel and Pam Bondi, worked for Qatar.
Another new bombshell report reveals that Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's $20 billion bailout of Argentina's economy will benefit longtime wealthy fund manager Rob Citrone, an ally of Trump and Bessent. Trump and Bessent bailed out Argentina right after it sold its soybeans to China at manipulative prices, while American soybean farmers remain locked out of China's market and unable to sell their crops thanks to Trump's ongoing trade standoff.
In response, DNC Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer issued the following statement:
"Is this the same guy who promised to 'drain the swamp?' Every day, corruption in Donald Trump's White House reaches staggering new levels. Trump is working tirelessly to make himself and his rich friends even richer - while betraying America's families and farmers who are struggling under the weight of his disastrous economic policies. If Trump and his cronies spent half as much time working for the American people as they do lining their own pockets, we might actually have a functioning government. Instead, they're too busy treating the government like their personal ATM - leaving farmers and working families to pay the price."
Trump's corruption seems never-ending. Just recently, under Trump's watch, the Justice Department dropped a criminal investigation into his Border Czar, Tom Homan, who was caught on tape accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents seeking government contracts. And, two Trump nominees recently made six-figure donations to the RNC, apparently to fast-track their confirmations. In Trump's world, pay-to-play is the name of the game.
