City of South Fulton District 3 Hosts Annual Freedom Park Back 2 School Giveaway

SOUTH FULTON, GA. - August 1, 2025 - District 3 Councilwoman Helen Z. Willis is proud to host the Annual Freedom Park Back 2 School Giveaway on Friday, August 1, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at Siloam Church International, located at 3695 Roosevelt Highway, South Fulton, GA 30349.

This community-centered event aims to support South Fulton families by providing freebookbags and essential school supplies to local students just in time for the new school year. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and children must be present to receive a bookbag.

To ensure accessibility, shuttle transportation will be available for Freedom Park students and residents starting at 12:45 PM near the entrance of the community.

Councilwoman Willis, alongside local partners and sponsors, is excited to help families kick off the academic year with the tools needed for success. "It's an honor to support our young scholars with resources that help ease the financial burden on parents while fostering academic readiness and community pride," said Willis.

The Annual Back 2 School Giveaway reflects the City of South Fulton's ongoing commitment to education, service, and family support.
