Juneteenth celebrates freedom - and that freedom must include access to opportunity.
The Black Advisory Business Council Scholarship Fund, administered by the Hillsboro Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3), is aiming to reach 263 donors giving $19 each during the month of June.
Your gift will help fully endow scholarships for Black high school seniors in Hillsboro, Oregon - helping them attend college or trade school without the burden of cost.
"The love and generosity shown by the Hillsboro community continues to inspire me. Your support doesn't just fund education-it sends a message to every young Black student that their future matters," said Titonian Wallace Sr.
While the campaign hopes to reach its goal by June 19, the campaign will continue through the end of the month.
"Every share counts. Every dollar matters. Thank you for standing with us. Let's keep education alive. Let's keep dreams alive,'" Wallace said.
