Important Information for Libby Users

On July 1, the Royal Oak Public Library is moving from the MCLS Consortium to TLN's Download Destination (DD). What do you need to know?

  1. We recommend doing a screenshot or writing down your holds in case they get lost in the transition.
  2. On July 1 after 11am, you will need to remove your card from MCLS and any library consortium where you are registered.
  3. You will need to re-add your card to Download Destination first, then any others you use.
  4. Your checkouts will reappear once you log into the consortium where you checked it out, as will your holds.

You may lose your place in line for your holds if they were only owned by MCLS. Our staff will review patron holds and purchase some items in the new system to help you get your holds faster.

For information on how to remove and re-add your card on July 1, visit the eMaterials section of our website. If you are having trouble, please contact the Adult Reference staff at 248-246-3700, option 2.
