Marion Announces 2026 Moonlit Movie Series at Lowe Park

The City of Marion is pleased to announce the return of the Moonlit Movie series at the Klopfenstein Amphitheater at Lowe Park, 4500 N. 10th Street, Marion. Three outdoor movie nights are planned, including:

  • Friday, June 12, featuring "Zootopia 2"
  • Friday, July 10, featuring "How to Train Your Dragon" (2025)
  • Friday, Aug. 7, featuring "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie"

Inflatables will be available each evening starting at 7 p.m. and face painting will be offered for free. The feature presentation will begin around 8:30 p.m.

Outside food and drink are permitted. Select snack vendors will be on-site during each event. Guests should bring chairs or blankets for general lawn seating.

Parking is available in three hard-surface lots, as well as marked overflow areas in the grass. Marion's parks are proud to be smoke-free, nicotine-free and tobacco-free.

Moonlit Movies hosted by the Marion Parks and Recreation Department and supported by PDCM Insurance and Marion's Hotel/Motel Grant Program.
