Portland, Oregon - Excitement is in the air as the Democratic Party of Oregon's Black Caucus proudly announces the arrival of Bakari Sellers, a dynamic political commentator, former South Carolina legislator (2006-2014), and passionate activist! Bakari is joining forces with Secretary of State Candidate Tobias Read and our amazing Black Caucus members to launch a powerful Get Out The Vote (GOTV) initiative in our community.

To kick off this amazing collaboration, the Black Caucus is hosting a breakfast reception on **Saturday, October 12th, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM** at Le Bontemps restaurant, located at **2716 NE Martin Luther King Blvd, Portland, Oregon**. This event promises to be an energizing platform for meaningful discussions, vibrant networking, and innovative strategies aimed at mobilizing the Black community for the upcoming elections.
