Washington, D.C. - United States Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee released the following statement:
"Donald Trump promised to lower costs 'on day one.' He's done the opposite. His chaotic tariffs sent prices climbing. And his war with Iran is driving them even higher. Today's numbers tell the story: families paid more for gas, food, and housing and utilities. Inflation is running ahead of wages as Trump's failed economic agenda is hollowing out Americans' paychecks."
