Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Guo Haiyan Pays a Courtesy Call on Hon. John Mbadi Ng’ongo

On 20 January, H.E. Guo Haiyan, Ambassador of China to Kenya paid a courtesy call on Hon. FCPA John Mbadi Ng'ongo, Cabinet Secretary for The National Treasury and Economic Planning.

Ambassador Guo said that China attaches great importance to China-Kenya comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and would like to work with Kenya to actively implement the important common understandings reached between the two heads of state, deepen practical cooperation in all areas, and jointly build an even closer China-Kenya community with a shared future in the new era.

Hon. John Mbadi welcomed Ambassador Guo's assumption of office, and thanked China for its long-term support in Kenya's infrastructure development and economic and social progress. He said that the Kenyan side will work closely with China to implement the outcomes of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
