Mariposa County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic control in place on State Route 140 (SR-140) in Mariposa County next week for pavement repair work.
Caltrans will be repairing damaged asphalt from emergency rock scaling work performed earlier this week. The one-way traffic controls will be in place from Redbud Lodge to Cedar Lodge on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Caltrans is asking motorist to expect 5-10 minute delays, to slow down, and to #MoveOver through the construction zone. For the safety of our workers and other motorists, please Be Work Zone Alert.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Be Work Zone Alert. Caltrans also reminds motorists to #KnowBeforeYouGo by checking QuickMaps on your mobile device or visit quickmap.dot.ca.gov for real-time highway conditions.
