Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia with the Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

On August 14, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, as part of his working visit to Kyiv, met with Olena Kondratiuk, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects for the development of Armenia-Ukraine relations, emphasizing the need to further expand the high-level contacts that have intensified recently through joint efforts and to further strengthen the bilateral agenda.

Highlighting the role of interparliamentary cooperation in advancing bilateral relations, Vahan Kostanyan and Olena Kondratiuk underscored the importance of further strengthening ties between the parliaments of the two countries, as well as deepening cooperation within multilateral parliamentary platforms.

They also exchanged views on matters of regional and international importance, emphasizing the importance of advancing stable and lasting peace.
