Your Guide to the Hershey Country Club Golf Season

Dust off your golf bags because Hershey Country Club(HCC)is gearing up for golf season! The West Courseis opening soon, and we want to ensure members and guests are prepared before they visit our Club. Here are five reminders for golfers hitting the links this spring.

1. Adhere to the HCC Dress Code

Before you arrive for your tee time, or if you're using the putting greens or practice facility, make sure you look and feel your best by following our dress code:

• Golf shirts with collars must be worn at all times on the courses.
• Women may wear sleeved or sleeveless shirts with collars, golf skirts, shorts or slacks.
• Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward.
• Only golf-specific hoodies are allowed.
• Golf shoes and sneakers are required.

2. Check-In Before Starting Your Round

Upon arrival at the club, our golf cart attendants will assist you with your golf bags and guide you to our Golf Shop to check in for your tee time. This allows our team to provide the best service possible so that you have everything you need before heading out to your first hole.

3. Pace of Play

To create an enjoyable experience for all players, we kindly ask each group to keep pace with the players ahead of them. Our goal is to maintain a 4-hour pace of play, whether you are walking or riding. If you need assistance, our golf attendants are available to help.

4. Get Your Shoes Cleaned

Want to freshen up your look before your round? HCC offers shoe cleaning on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our shoe room attendant, Roy, will clean and prepare your golf shoes for play!

5. Course Etiquette

Our turf maintenance team works hard to keep our greens in top condition. Whether hitting from a bunker or landing a perfect shot on the green, please rake your bunkers and repair your ball marks to maintain course quality for the next group.
