Alexandria City Council Meetings Move to Del Pepper Community Resource Center

On January 13, the Alexandria City Council will hold its first meeting at the new City Council Chamber location at the Del Pepper Community Resource Center (4850 Mark Center Dr.).

The move allows public business to continue while City Hall is closed for renovations. All regular City Council meetings will take place at the Del Pepper Community Resource Center until renovations are complete.

Meetings Held at the Del Pepper Community Resource Center

The following meetings will be held in the City Council Chamber at Del Pepper Community Resource Center:

  • Alexandria City Council Legislative Meetings
  • Alexandria City Council Public Hearings
  • Alexandria City Council Budget Public Hearings and Work Sessions

Meeting dates, times, and public participation options will remain the same unless otherwise noted. Residents should review individual meeting agendas for the most current information.

How to Get to the New City Council Chamber Location

The City Council Chamber at Del Pepper Community Resource Center is on the first floor of 4850 Mark Center Dr.

  • Public Transit:The Del Pepper Community Resource Center is a five-minute walk from the Mark Center Transit Station. You can take a Metrobus or a free DASH Busto get to the Mark Center Transit Station.
  • Drive: A four-level parking garage is located next to the Del Pepper Community Resource Center with elevator access to the lobby. Parking is free for up to four hours for those attending a City Council meeting or accessing city services.
