MISHAWAKA, IND. - Centier Bank, Indiana's largest private, family-owned and operated bank, is pleased to welcome Johnathon Jorgensen as AVP, Commercial Banking Officer. In this role, Jorgensen is responsible for developing and managing commercial relationships across Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and SBA lending.
"Centier's family-owned culture and commitment to the community resonated with me immediately," said Jorgensen. "Growing up in a small town in southwest Michigan and building my career at community-focused institutions, I've always believed banking works best when it's personal. What sets Centier apart is the ability to maintain that community bank feel while continuing to grow, and that's a direct reflection of the leadership and the people here."
Jorgensen joined Centier with more than seven years of commercial lending experience with a strong background in credit underwriting, complex transaction structures, and loan origination technology. He will primarily serve clients in St. Joseph County and southwestern Michigan, based out of Centier's Mishawaka branch, located at 255 E. Day Road.
"We're thrilled to welcome Jonathon to Centier and our Business Banking team," said Amy Varga, Centier Bank's South Bend Market President. "His experience across a broad range of industries and loan structures brings flexibility to serve a wide variety of business clients."
Jorgensen earned an Associates in Applied Science at Lake Michigan College with coursework
toward a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Louisiana State University of Shreveport. He lives in the area with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he's a competitive triathlete, having qualified for the 2026 USAT Sprint Triathlon National Championships.
