Tornado Workforce Recovery Survey

The recent tornado has impacted countless lives across our community, disrupting homes, businesses, and employment. Many St. Louis residents have lost jobs, experienced reduced income, or been forced to change their work conditions as a result of the disaster.

The SLATE Missouri Job Center is asking individuals affected by the tornado to take a brief Workforce Displacement Survey to help us better understand the employment impact on our community.

.Why This Survey Matters

Your voice plays a critical role in shaping recovery efforts. The data collected through this survey will help SLATE:

  • Assess the extent of job and income loss in the community

  • Advocate for additional funding and recovery resources

  • Request workforce development support to place displaced workers into new jobs

  • Create more opportunities to help residents rebuild their lives

The stronger the response, the stronger our case for securing the funding needed to support those who have been affected.

Who Should Take the Survey?

We encourage anyone who has experienced employment disruption due to the tornado to participate, including individuals who:

  • Lost their job or income

  • Had to relocate for work

  • Were forced to change work conditions

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is available online.

SLATE remains committed to helping St. Louis residents reconnect to employment, access supportive services, and recover from this disaster. Your story helps build a stronger future for our community.

Please share this survey with friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers who may have been affected. The more we hear from the community, the more effectively we can respond.

Together, we recover.
