Lane closures scheduled on Scott Boulevard, Bernadette Drive for concrete repairs July 27-28
(COLUMBIA, MO) - On July 27-28, City of Columbia Public Works Street division crews will perform concrete repairs at two locations.
All work is weather permitting. If rain delays the project, the work scheduled for each day will move to the next clear weather day.
Scott Boulevard, July 27
Beginning at 6 a.m. Monday, July 27, Street division crews will repair the right southbound lane of Scott Boulevard near West Georgetown Drive. The left southbound lane will remain open to traffic. Crews will replace a damaged concrete slab that has created an uneven driving surface.
The lane closure will begin north of the work area near West Millbrook Drive to provide space for traffic to merge into the open southbound lane.
Electronic message boards will be placed on Scott Boulevard near Rainbow Trout Drive to notify motorists of the upcoming work.
Crews expect to complete the repairs and reopen the lane by 5 p.m. the same day.
Bernadette Drive, Tuesday, July 28
Beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, Street division crews will repair chipped concrete and replace signage on the Bernadette Drive median near Stadium Boulevard.
During the repairs, one of the two left-turn lanes from Bernadette Drive onto Stadium Boulevard will be closed.
The portion of the left-turn lane that allows eastbound Bernadette Drive traffic to turn into the Phillips 66 gas station will also be closed.
Crews expect to complete the work and reopen the lanes by 3:30 p.m. the same day.
