Governor Shapiro Signs Six Bills into Law | Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Harrisburg, PA - Today, Governor Josh Shapiro signed six bills into law.

The Governor signed the following bills in this order: HB 274, HB 467, HB 1425, HB 1615, HB 1651, and SB 734.

The legislation the Governor signed today includes bills to expand unemployment compensation eligibility for survivors of domestic violence, update liquor and tobacco laws to reflect modern business practices, strengthen traffic safety and driving under the influence (DUI) enforcement, clarify local government vacancy procedures, and authorize the creation of a commemorative monument at the State Capitol honoring Pennsylvania's central role in the nation's 250th anniversary.
