VICTORVILLE, Calif. - The City of Victorville will host a virtual community meeting about the City's budget on April 1 at 6 p.m. City leaders will present a comprehensive overview of the current fiscal year budget and outline a roadmap for future financial decisions.
"This virtual meeting is one of several opportunities for residents to learn more about the City's finances and engage in the process," said Victorville City Manager Keith Metzler. "We want to hear from our community, and we're bringing the conversation directly to them."
As Victorville continues to grow, resident feedback remains a key component of the City's long-term planning efforts. During the session, residents will receive a detailed breakdown of the City's revenue sources from Finance Director Carmen Cun. The meeting will include updates on major infrastructure and community development projects underway this fiscal year.
Following the presentation, Metzler will lead an interactive Q&A session via the Zoom, allowing for direct dialogue between City leadership and the community.
"The financial decisions we make today have lasting impacts on our residents for generations," Cun said. "These tools are part of our effort to help residents better understand where their tax dollars come from and how they are used."
Attendance is encouraged, and the meeting can be accessed through this link. An on-demand recording of the meeting will be made available on the City's website following the event for those unable to attend live.
