Electronics Recycling Resources in Tucson

Published on July 30, 2026

Electronic devices contain valuable materials that can be recovered and reused, along with components that should be managed responsibly. Instead of placing electronics in your trash or recycling cart, recycle them through a designated electronics recycling progam.

Whether you're replacing an old computer, clearing out cables, or getting rid of a broken television, Tucson residents have several convenient options for responsible electronics recycling.

City of Tucson's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program

City of Tucson residents can bring many household electronic items to the Los Reales HHW site or at community collection events for proper recycling and disposal.

Examples of accepted electronics include:

  • Computers and laptops
  • Computer monitors
  • Printers and scanners
  • Televisions
  • Cell phones and tablets
  • Keyboards and computer accessories
  • Cables and chargers
  • DVD players and other small electronic devices

Electronics collected through the HHW Program are managed through approved recycling partners to recover reusable materials and help keep hazardous components out of the landfill.

Visit our Household Hazardous Waste page for more information.
