The City of Cathedral City has rescheduled Tuesday's Tastes & Sounds of Cathedral City featuring The Dreamboats to Wednesday, November 19, 2025, due to the threat of inclement weather and out of respect for the recent passing of Councilmember Mark Carnevale.
The free concert will now take place on Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:30 PM at the Community Amphitheater (68526 Avenida Lalo Guerrero). Wednesday's forecast shows clear conditions, making it an ideal evening for this popular tribute band that draws thousands of fans.
The Dreamboats previously performed to a record-breaking crowd of over 2,000 attendees in February 2025, marking the largest gathering at the amphitheater since its opening in 2022. Their high-energy performance and classic sound made them an instant fan favorite, prompting their return to help launch the festival week.
"We want to ensure our community can enjoy this concert safely and comfortably," said Ryan Hunt, Communications & Events Manager. "Moving to Wednesday gives us clear weather and allows our community to come together during this difficult time following the loss of Councilmember Carnevale."
The rescheduled concert kicks off an exciting week of entertainment leading into the 11th Annual Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival (November 21-23), which features Robin Thicke as Friday night's concert headliner. Tickets are available at www.cchotairballoonfest.com.
