Calaveras County

Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 4, 12 & 26

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 4 (SR-4), SR-12 and SR-26 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:

State Route 4

  • One-way traffic control from Vallecito Bypass Road to Parrotts Ferry Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, October 30, 2024, through Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Main Street/Lawrence Street to Big Trees Road/Tom Bell Road for utility work on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way Traffic control from Hillcrest Drive to Canyon View Drive for utility work on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 12

  • One-way traffic control from Wards Avenue to Sierra Rose Ranch for utility work on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control at Vista Del Lago for utility work beginning Wednesday, October 30, 2024, through Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
