Foreign Minister led Uzbekistan delegation participated in the 62nd Munich Security Conference

On February 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov participated in the 62nd Munich Security Conference held in Munich, Germany. Within the framework of the conference, key international and regional security issues, emerging threats and risks, as well as coordinated measures to address them and the strengthening of multilateral cooperation were discussed.

Today, Central Asia has become a notable example of how countries in a single region can resolve their issues peacefully for the sake of the prosperity of all, be united, and stronger in addressing emerging challenges.

During the conference, the Minister had the opportunity to exchange views on many acute bilateral, regional, and global issues, and held meetings with representatives of Georgia, Kuwait, KSA, the U.S., EU states and other countries. The achievements that had been made were reviewed, and new targets for the future were outlined.
