Winter Storm Hernando brought severe conditions to the Northeast, with snowfalls exceeding 30 inches in some areas and maximum wind speeds of 90 mph. At its peak, the storm left 650,000 without power, though recovery efforts today have successfully lowered current outages to half that level.
