NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (September 23, 2024) - The Middlesex County Jazz Festival comes to New Brunswick on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 1-5:30 p.m. The free performances take place, rain or shine, on Livingston Avenue in front of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center.

Great food and beverages will be available at the festival for purchase from the many great downtown New Brunswick restaurants.

Picnics are permitted but visitors are not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages. Please bring your own chairs.

New Brunswick thinks dogs are terrific, but they are not permitted at this event unless they are certified service animals.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, notification of any changes will be made by 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 27. Visit this website, nbjp.org, Facebook or call 732-640-0001 for further information.

The county jazz festival includes four other towns: Edison, Metuchen, Carteret and Woodbridge, from Sept. 25-29.

The New Brunswick Jazz Project, with its experience in jazz festival production agreed to lead the development of the Middlesex County Jazz Festival and, with input from each of the towns, the event takes place the last week of September every year.
