Napa, California-August 26, 2026-Due to disruption to member medical practices from severe weather, tornado activity, and flooding in Indiana, The Doctors Company will defer policy cancellations and nonrenewals for nonpayment.
The policy cancellation deferment grace period applies to Indiana members directly affected by the disaster events. The grace period began on August 11, 2026, and will run for 60 days.
The grace period is provided without interest or penalty to allow practitioners to care for patients and attend to their practices in the disaster's aftermath. Affected members should contact their agent or Member Services at (800) 421-2368 with any questions (press 1 for Member Services).
