Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Gold Country Energy (GCE) filed TA197-341, its quarterly cost of power adjustment (COPA), power cost equalization (PCE) and small facility power purchase rate (SFPPR) rate update for the period beginning April 1, 2026. The proposed COPA surcharge is increasing from $0.2642 per kWh to $0.6526 per kWh. The proposed PCE amount is increasing from $0.4730 per kWh to $0.7564 per kWh. The proposed SFPPR is increasing from $0.3785 per kWh to $0.6968 per kWh. The statutory notice period for TA197-341 ends June 1, 2026.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from those proposed.
