Intermittent lane/ramp closures for sign inspections on SB I-29, April 26

CLAY COUNTY - MoDOT Kansas City will make the following intermittent lane and ramp closures for overhead sign inspections on SB I-29 from N. Oak Trafficway to NE Parvin Rd. Work will be completed between 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 26:

Sunday, April 26, 5 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Intermittent one lane closure on SB I-29 from N. Oak Trafficway to NE Parvin Rd.

This work also includes the following intermittent ramp closures:

  • SB I-29 to NB N. Oak Trafficway
  • SB I-29 to NB I-35 flyover ramp
  • SB I-29 auxiliary lane at NE Davidson Rd
  • SB N. Oak to SB I-29

In addition, the following ongoing work is scheduled to take place on SB I-35 near the work zone, Lane closures on SB I-35 south of Front St (Berkley Pkwy) for utility work, April 24 - April 27.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
