‘Forget You Not’ Unveils Heartfelt Trailer Exploring Family, Love and Life’s Unpredictable Turns

Directed by renowned actress-singer René Liu, the Netflix healing family drama series Forget You Not unveils its touching and emotional trailer . Starring award-winning actress Hsieh Ying-xuan ( Born for the Spotlight , Wave Makers ), screen veteran and Golden Horse best actor Chin Han, Tracy Chou and Esther Liu ( At the Moment ), the series also features special appearances by Wallace Huo ( Light the Night ), Wang Po-chieh ( Eye of the Storm ), Chen Yi-wen ( The Pig, The Snake and The Pigeon ) and director-writer of Born for the Spotlight , Yen Yi-wen.

The trailer opens from Cheng Le-le's perspective, showing her father, Cheng Kuang-chi (Chin Han), as a charmingly unpredictable presence. Whether he's cracking jokes in a hospital or stealing the spotlight on his daughter's wedding day, Kuang-chi never fails to surprise. When he mysteriously vanishes on Le-le's wedding day, she discovers he has fallen off his bicycle. Still in her wedding gown, Le-le rushes into the emergency room, only to find her father laughing and joking with medical staff, capturing the series' blend of comedy, chaos, and familial love.

Le-le is a true modern multitasker - once a travel tour leader, now juggling roles as a stand-up comedian and convenience store clerk. From dealing with strange customers to unreasonable clients, her life is a whirlwind of misadventures. Constantly rushing between jobs, she finds herself repeatedly apologizing just to keep the peace and is exhausted from the hustle of everyday life.

In one of the series' most poignant moments, as Le-le faces a low point in her life, Kuang-chi quietly finds her in her secret hideaway. Sensing her distress, he gently says, "It's about to rain, let's go home." Le-le asks, "Your home or mine?" Without hesitation, he replies, "Isn't my home your home too?" - a simple exchange that speaks volumes about the unspoken yet profound love between father and daughter.

From receiving hand-written spring couplets from her father during Lunar New Year, to dancing with him in the rain like they did when she was a child, these seemingly insignificant moments become Le-le's true sources of strength. With a laugh, she affectionately says, "As long as I keep performing (as a stand-up comedian), I'll always be using you for material," perfectly capturing their unique father-daughter bond, sealed with candor, humor and love.

Amidst the chaos, Le-le finds love with Chang Kai (Wallace Huo). Their romance blossoms by chance, leading to a heartfelt marriage. Yet even their relationship is tested, as conflicting values and Chang Kai's career move to Singapore place their marriage on uncertain ground.

Le-le is also supported by her two closest friends, portrayed by Esther Liu and Tracy Chou. Through every life challenge - be it marital troubles or her father's illness - they remain her steadfast pillars, grounding her with their unwavering presence.
