Announcing OGE's New Ethics Counsel

Mr. de la Vega comes to OGE with a wealth of experience in ethics and government leadership. He previously served as the Designated Agency Ethics Official at the Department of the Interior as well as an ethics official at a number of agencies including the White House, Office of the Vice President, Office of Administration and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Earlier in his career he was a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. Mr. de la Vega holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University at Albany, SUNY and a Juris Doctor from the Syracuse University College of Law.
