City of Henderson Recognizes National Community Planning Month, Code Compliance Month in October

Proclamation Scheduled During City Council Meeting on Oct. 7

HENDERSON, Nev.(Oct 2, 2025) - The City of Henderson is proud to celebrate National Community Planning Month and Code Compliance Month in October and recognize the importance of long-term community planning and the work of Code Enforcement Officers in keeping the community safe.

Community planning impacts everyone. Planners take a comprehensive approach to continuously improve the quality of life throughout Henderson. This approach leads to safer, resilient, more equitable, and more prosperous communities.

Code Enforcement Officers assist in ensuring the safety and welfare of residents through enforcement of municipal codes and ordinances including building, zoning, housing, environmental, health and life safety. Henderson and the American Association of Code Enforcement recognize the national month.
