Day Lane Closures for Westbound, Eastbound SR-37 Capital Preventive Maintenance Project in Marin County

Marin County - Caltrans is in the final stages of its Capital Preventive Maintenance project in March on Westbound and Eastbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between Atherton Avenue and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for fine-tuning of the guard rail systems.

There will be intermittent daytime closures on Westbound and Eastbound SR-37 from Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13. Eastbound work will occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Westbound work will occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.

The Hanna Ranch Road on-ramp to Westbound State Route 37 and the Westbound SR-37 off-ramp to Hanna Ranch Road could be affected intermittently in the month of March.

All construction Is weather dependent.

This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge - a stretch of about three miles.
