REMINDER: LACERS 2026 OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS NOVEMBER 17

LACERS is accepting applications for health plan changes and new enrollments from October 15 to November 17, 2025. Changes made during this period will become effective on January 1, 2026. If you do not wish to make changes, no action is required; your current LACERS health coverage will continue for the 2026 plan year.

Open Enrollment packets were mailed in early October. If you have not received your packet and would like Open Enrollment materials mailed to you, email [email protected] or call (800) 779-8328. Information is also available online at lacers.org/enrollment.

ATTEND AN IN-PERSON OPEN ENROLLMENT MEETING

Attend an Open Enrollment meeting to learn more about benefit plan options and ask questions directly to LACERS and plan carrier representatives. Register through your MyLACERS account or by calling LACERS at (800) 779-8328. Space is limited, so register now!

HEALTH PLAN PREMIUM INCREASE OVERVIEW FOR 2026

The overall 2026 health plan premium costs increased by approximately $12.5 million, or 7.35%, which is favorable compared to the medical trend benchmark of 7.50%. The 2026 premium rate increases are as follows:

• Anthem Blue Cross HMO and PPO, and Part B only HMO and PPO: 9.0%
• Anthem Life & Health Medicare Plan (Medicare Supplement): 9.0%
• Anthem Medicare Preferred PPO: 10.61%
• Kaiser Permanente HMO: 3.99%
• Kaiser Senior Advantage: 7.69%
• UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage HMO: 39.08%
• SCAN: 2.81%
• Delta Dental PPO: 2.67%

There were no premium changes for Anthem Blue View Vision and Delta Dental HMO plans .

In observance of the upcoming holidays, please be aware of the following changes to LACERS' services. We thank you for your understanding and wish you a joyful holiday season!

The LACERS Front Desk and 800 Phone Line will be unavailable on the following dates:

• November 24-26
• December 24, 26, 29, 30, 31, and January 2

During these times, Members may still reach us via: [email protected], and voicemail messages will be monitored and responded to as soon as possible.

LACERS will be completely closed , and all services will be unavailable on:

• November 27 and 28
• December 25
• January 1
