IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 10, 2025 Republican Party of New Mexico Re-establishes the Republican Party of Rio Arriba Santa Fe, NM - The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) proudly announces the successful reestablishment of the Republican Party of Rio Arriba. On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Chairwoman Amy Barela, Executive Director Leticia Muñoz, and a dedicated team of RPNM volunteers worked hard to bring together local Republicans to rebuild and reorganize the county party. The meeting was a 100% success, and Rio Arriba County now has a strong new team of Republican leaders ready to get to work! We are thrilled to welcome Patricia Salazar, County Chairwoman and her newly elected leadership team as they take the reins and begin their mission to move Rio Arriba County to the red. Their passion, vision, and commitment to conservative values embody the spirit of renewal taking hold across New Mexico. "Rio Arriba is such an important part of our team, and we are excited to see this new chapter begin," said RPNM Chairwoman Amy Barela. "Every new volunteer and leader strengthens our movement and helps advance our shared mission to grow the Republican Party and build a stronger New Mexico." Newly elected Rio Arriba Chair Patricia Salazar shared her enthusiasm for the road ahead: "I am honored to lead this incredible team as we rebuild the Republican presence in Rio Arriba County. Our goal is to bring new energy, engage our communities, and ensure that our conservative values are represented at every level. Together, we will make Rio Arriba a proud part of New Mexico's Republican future." RPNM extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this effort and welcomes the new Rio Arriba leadership to the RPNM family.
