Park Center opens Noble County clinic, extending access to behavioral health services

Community members invited to attend open house on June 23

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. - June 15, 2026 - Noble County residents seeking help with mental health issues or treatment for substance use will soon be able to obtain support close to home.

Park Center Kendallville, a new behavioral health clinic located at 213 Fairview Blvd., will welcome the public with an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 23 and will begin providing services June 29.

Initially, services at the clinic will be focused on youth and adult mental health, including care for anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, seasonal affective disorder and other conditions. Assessment, therapy, individual and family counseling, medication evaluation and management, nursing services and case management will be available.

"Expanding behavioral health services into Noble County reflects our deep commitment to meeting people where they are and responding to the growing need identified through our community health needs assessment, which is conducted every three years," said Laura Murphy, director of clinical services, Parkview Behavioral Health Institute. "Every individual deserves timely access to compassionate, high-quality care, and this expansion allows us to strengthen support for individuals and families who have historically faced barriers to treatment. We are proud to partner with the community to ensure that mental health services are accessible, responsive and rooted in hope and recovery."

Later this summer, the clinic will also begin offering substance use-specific assessment and treatment including therapy, drug testing and a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinic. The goal is to provide a full range of outpatient care with a focus on enabling people to discover healthy coping skills, develop their sense of self-worth, rebuild relationships and move forward.

"This is such an exciting development for our community," said Jordi Disler, market president, Parkview Health North. "The need for mental health services in our rural area is significant, and now residents can be reassured that they will find compassion and professionalism at this clinic as they work to make positive changes in their lives. We truly appreciate Park Center's making those services possible. The clinic will be a life-changer for many local families!"

"This expansion into Noble County represents an important investment in the health and well-being of our region," said Adam Kurtz, CPA, vice president of operations - Community Mental Health, PBHI. "By increasing access to behavioral health services, we are not only addressing immediate gaps in care, but also building a stronger, more resilient community for the future. We are committed to continuing to grow in ways that ensure individuals and families can receive the care they need close to home."

Park Center's approach to care is team-based, as most clients require multiple service providers working in tandem to achieve the best possible outcomes. The clinic team includes a licensed therapist, two case managers, a nurse, a clinical supervisor and a nurse practitioner who is qualified to prescribe medications. These experienced professionals will work closely with local law enforcement, the courts, the county JCAP (Jail Chemical Addiction Program), and Parkview Noble Hospital in addressing community members' mental health and addiction treatment needs.

Not only will the clinic result in more convenient treatment close to home for clients, but it has also provided additional local jobs. The therapist, a case manager and a nurse are all Noble County residents.

The 1,680-square-foot clinic will offer spaces for individual and group therapy as well as room for providers and the prescriber. Thanks to funding support from donors through the Parkview Health Foundation, the existing space has been renovated, furnished and decorated to provide a calm, welcoming environment.
