City of Cypress launches Mia’s Corner
Welcome to Mia's Corner, established in honor of Mia Mejia. Mia was a 13-year-old seventh-grade student at Lexington Junior High School known for her kindness, infectious laugh and warm smile. On March 17, 2025, Mia died by suicide. Though Mia is deeply missed, her legacy lives on through the hope and professional resources provided here for those in crisis.
