Green Party 2026 Annual National Meeting in Chicago July 23-26 will feature midterm candidates
Washington, DC - The Green Party of the United States will hold its 2026 Annual National Meeting from Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The meeting will be held in Student Center East on 750 S. Halsted at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC)
Members of the news media are invited to cover the press conferences, keynote speaker Anthony Aguilar, and other events. The press conferences will feature national Green leaders and 2026 Green candidates and officeholders.
The Green Party encourages members of the media who are interested in covering the nomination, press conferences, and other events to register for media credentials at www.gp.org/2026_media_credentials.

Keynote Speaker:
On Saturday afternoon, keynote speaker Anthony Aguilar will share his story as a whistleblower on alleged war crimes he observed as a security contractor in Gaza. Aguilar is running for the House of Representatives as a Green Party candidate for North Carolina's 13th congressional district. Butch Ware, Green Party 2024 Vice Presidential candidate and current candidate for California Governor, will also be in attendance throughout the weekend.
The Green Party will host workshops and panels for meeting registrants throughout the event.
Details for all events are subject to change. Follow-up advisories will announce the schedule of press conferences as well as updates and other details before the meeting.
