News Release Lane Closure on East Main Street, PFC Hotty Herrick Bridge, to begin on Monday, March 16, 2026
There will be a lane closure on East Main Street, towards Anmoore, on the PFC Hotty Herrick Bridge, beginning 7:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, until late fall 2026, for bridge overlay and expansion dam replacement. This lane closure will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until project completion and will be maintained using traffic signals. Maximum lane width will be 11.5 feet.
Alternate routes include: Joyce Street exit on US 50; County Route 23/9, Phillipi Pike; and County Route 20, East Main Street.
This will be a LANE Closureand will be maintained with temporary traffic signals. Expect delays. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute. Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
