Warren Currie Inducted into CFCA Hall of Fame for Contributions to Communications Fraud Prevention

Washington, D.C. (October 18, 2024) - This week, Warren Currie, robocall traceback fraud specialist for the USTelecom-led Industry Traceback Group and a long-time leader in the fight against communications fraud, was inducted into the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA)'s Hall of Fame. This recognition is a testament to Currie's remarkable dedication to protecting consumers and the telecommunications industry from fraudsters and criminals.

"This well-deserved award underscores Warren's legacy as a pioneer in fraud control and his continuing influence on the future of communications security," said Jonathan Spalter, president & CEO of USTelecom.

Currie spent nearly 40 years at Sprint, where he was instrumental in developing cutting-edge fraud prevention strategies. His experience and insight have been invaluable to his work with the Industry Traceback Group where he helps to identify and stop illegal robocalls and fraud schemes that plague millions of consumers.
