Planning a remodel or addition? Curious about accessory dwelling units or other housing options? Want to better understand Bellevue's permitting process and how to apply for permits?

The City of Bellevue invites community members to a Residential Permitting Expo on Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE.

This free, family-friendly event offers a chance to meet city experts, ask questions and get practical guidance on everything from code updates and permit review to inspection and compliance. Staff from across the Development Services and Community Development departments will share resources and answer questions.

Expo highlights include:

  • A panel discussion on ADU construction
  • Workshops on using MyBuildingPermit.com
  • Fun activities for kids

Whether you're considering a new home or ADU, planning a DIY remodel or interested in housing and policy updates, the expo has something for you.

City Hall is accessible by light rail, walking or rolling, and free visitor parking is available. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
