Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Yang Xin Attends 2025 Annual Conference of Chinese Enterprises in Kuwait

On 22 January 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait convened the 2025 Annual Conference of Chinese Enterprises in Kuwait. Ambassador Yang Xin attended the meeting and delivered remarks. More than 30 representatives from the Embassy and Chinese-funded enterprises participated in the conference. 

China-Kuwait relations and practical cooperation in 2025. He called on Chinese enterprises in Kuwait to thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference, seize new opportunities in bilateral cooperation, consolidate strengths in traditional sectors, actively explore innovative cooperation models, firmly uphold the principles of compliance-based operations and sustainable development, and promote high-quality development of China-Kuwait practical cooperation. He urged enterprises to contribute to a sound start of China's "the 15th Five-Year Plan" period . Representatives unanimously expressed their commitment to strengthening foundations while pursuing innovation, and to serving the high-quality joint development of "the Belt and Road Initiative".

Prior to the conference, Ambassador Yang met with representatives from more than ten Chinese enterprises in Kuwait and visited several sites of project under construction to extend greetings and encouragement to frontline staff.
