CBP to host attorney virtual career fair

WASHINGTON- U.S. Customs and Border Protection attorneys play a vital role in advancing national security, enforcing immigration and customs laws, and supporting the agency's complex legal needs. CBP is recruiting for these positions nationwide and will hold a virtual attorney career expo on Sept. 9, from 1 - 4 p.m. ET.

"CBP attorneys work on some of the nation's most compelling issues in a challenging, fast-paced environment," said Deputy Chief Counsel Shelby Stuntz. "The Office of Chief Counsel values attorneys who bring integrity and sound judgment to their work. We offer tremendous opportunities for professional growth, a career defined by meaningful public service, and work locations throughout the United States."

CBP is hiring across multiple practice areas, including attorneys with real estate experience. Twenty current openings are available nationwide. Applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience as a licensed attorney, current bar membership, and at least one year of specialized experience reviewing title packages. Some positions may qualify for relocation incentives.

Recruiters and professional staff will be available during the expo to answer questions about the hiring process and other topics. The event is informational only; no interviews will be conducted, and no job offers will be made. Register by Sept. 4 to gain early access to videos, booth content, application links, FAQs and other resources.
