Calaveras County

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 4 (SR-4) and SR-26 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 4

  • One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work beginning Monday, June 16, 2025, through Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 26

• One-way traffic control from Double Springs Road to Paloma Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, June 17, 2025, through Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Andrew Lane to SR-49 for tree work on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gillhaven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
