SACRAMENTO, CA. - San Diego Youth Services was recognized as the 77th Assembly District's 2026 Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblymember Tasha Boerner (D-Encinitas). Each year, California Assemblymembers and State Senators select nonprofits from their district to be recognized for their work to provide services to those in need, promote social change, and improve the quality of life in their communities.

"San Diego Youth Services continues to play an important role in empowering young people and ensuring they have access to the support and opportunities needed to succeed. Their work provides young people with stability, guidance, and opportunities during some of the most critical moments in their lives, helping strengthen communities throughout our district. San Diego Youth Services has served vulnerable youth and families in San Diego County for more than 50 years through housing, mental health, education, and prevention programs. Each year, the organization helps thousands of young people build stability, strengthen resilience, and create brighter futures.
